Myths and Legends
It has been 1,500 years since the Champions ended the threat of the Outer Ones by allowing themselves to be sacrificed to close the gates between dimensions. 1,500 years during which the one who was forced to sacrifice them has been mourning what he lost. But it has also been more than enough time for his mistake to be realized by those that serve the Outer Ones and for the war the world thought was over to slowly begin again. A ghost of days gone by…one who refuses to allow a legend to drift into the fog of myth…appears to a young lady and places the hopes and dreams of those lost on the slim chance that she can wake a sleeping dragon and bring the Legend to life again.
In the end, words are power. They are the manifestation of thoughts, feelings, and dreams. But are they enough to keep a Legend from sliding into Myth? Are they enough to prevent a dragon in mourning from going quietly into that good night? More importantly though…are they enough to inspire a world full of people who believe themselves safe to rejoin a battle that was long thought to be over?
